THE OUTER WORLDS ENDINGS FULL

I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of ending I get in the end, since it will be different from the other ones posted. Peril on Gorgon is The Outer Worlds’ first big expansion, and it’s a capsule adventure that introduces an all-new location full of twisting underground research facilities, ravenous robots. He still has the same dialogue about disliking the iconoclasts, and the greyed out options about his beliefs haven’t changed either. I can’t tell if that’s due towards a writing/VA resource limitation, or if I just need to wait further in the plot. I’ve played for a while after route 3, and I haven’t really noticed any change in with other crew or npcs. If you kill the hermit but don’t denounce his religion Max has some interesting dialogue, where he still believes in destiny:īut the difference in renouncing religion between route 1 (kill hermit) and route 3 (get rejected) is subtle, but it’s that in route 3 he comes to this realization himself.

Once you do the drug hallucination route, there aren’t any different results, no matter how it goes Max always says he’s come to accept the chaos in the universe, he still believes in religion but from a more Philosiphism stance. You get this when you kill Chaney and without using the 55 Persuade, the hermit turns you away. This is the only path where you get to talk to Max about his parents and those related issues. You also can get this ending if you kill Chaney, but you need a persuade skill of 55. You get this if you let Chaney live, and then go tripping to “reach enlightenment”. You get this if you kill the hermit before Max can talk to her: So there are 3 endings to “The Empty Man”, assuming you didn’t kill Chaney before Max could talk to him, because that locks the quest.
